The Boozy Blondes did it! Season 2 is in the books. It was full of special guests, amazing travel destinations and so much fun!

The girls celebrate this milestone with, what else, Champagne as their DOE! They reflect back on the 2023 season and highlight their guests, top moments, struggles and wins.

One of the blondes’ most favorite parts of creating and hosting this podcast is connecting with and meeting other amazing people passionate about the beverage industry! They are incredibly grateful for the time and enthusiasm all their guests provided this season (and in Season 1) for the Boozy Blondes Podcast!

In a surprising twist, the Boozy Blondes are releasing this episode blog without one key component – photo evidence! The girls get extra boozy and invite their Boozy Bros to join in the fun when they play Power Hour while answering questions from listeners, Instagram followers and each other! They were so focused on the task at hand (drinking a shot of beer every 60 seconds), they forgot to snap some shots!

The DOE changes throughout the episode. But to start off each player chooses the following beverage:

They did it! The girls successfully completed Season 1 of the Boozy Blondes Podcast! In this final episode of 2022 they review what went well, where they would like to improve, favorite stops on their adventures and goals for next year.

The DOE is Champagne! Finishing Season 1 calls for a celebration and what better libation than Champagne!

Episode 026 | Drinking at Home, Tournament of Champions!

An ongoing tradition for the Boozy Blondes is to visit Sky Valley, Georgia, between Christmas and the new year. This episode gives you a raw look into a typical New Year’s Eve celebration during their trip – the annual Tournament of Champions – the favorite Drinking at Home night of the year! This year the group added an extra element to the tournament – Secret Santa onesies! Each player had to wear a onesie chosen by another competitor.

Today there is no DOE. The girls never mention what they are drinking in this episode, but it is very apparent they were overindulging prior to (and during?) recording.

The annual Tournament of Champions involves a bracket-style competition of seven games:

  • Pool
  • Shuffleboard
  • Darts
  • Foosball
  • Flip Tac Toe
  • Blackjack
  • Asshole

Six competitors go head-to-head to earn points in each game – the player with the most total points at the end wins a coveted spot on the podium. The girls interview the competitors following the 2022 tournament and ask them all the same questions:

  • Which of the competitors would you choose to battle one on one?
  • Who had the best onesie?
  • What game should be added to Tournament of Champions?
  • Which of the seven games in Tournament of Champions do you play the most in real life?
  • Who would you trade onesies with?

Episode 005 | Get to Know the Boozy Blonds

Get to know the Boozy Blondes in this episode! The DOE is Pink Automation from Lemonstreet Brewing in Jacksonville, Florida. This was the girls’ fave from Lemonstreet (sour with Jalapeño and hibiscus flavors) when they visited during the JAX Ale Trail, Vol 1 (episode coming January 13, 2022).

The idea for this podcast is Chrissy’s brainchild – she had a dream the girls started a podcast and told Molly about it, who was 100% on board! The girls travel a lot, so they want this podcast to be a resource for other booze travelers as they recommend different bars, breweries, distilleries and wineries from the places they visit. They also share interviews with owners and management personnel from some of their most favorite watering holes.

Another reason for the podcast is for the girls’ personal interest. They figured this will make a great audio diary some day when they are both living their best lives in an old person home reminiscing about their adventures with their BFFs.

The girls met around 1994 as rivals on the field hockey field in NEPA (Northeastern PA). Molly was scared of Chrissy for a long time, but the universe kept bringing the girls together through the years up north at concerts and at the Viewmont Mall. Then one day they both met up in St. Augustine, Florida, and the rest is history!

Some of their shared hobbies (besides getting boozy) include:

Meet Molly and Chrissy – booze travelers on a quest to bring you all things boozy!

These northeasterners have been friends for over 20 years! After growing up in NEPA (that’s local slang for northeastern Pennsylvania), these two happened to end up in the same beautiful town; the greatest place in the whole country – St. Augustine, Florida!

The girls have spent the past 20 years cramming in as much fun as possible to their busy schedules and enjoy escaping for libation vacations as often as they can. They are both so lucky to be able to plan most of their traveling together, so they decided it’s time to document their boozy adventures – and share them with the world!

Resources & Ridiculousness

When traveling, the girls love to check out local brewers and unique bars. Their podcast introduces these hidden (and sometimes not so hidden!) gems to their listeners. In some episodes, they will take you to a new city and recommend the best places to grab a drink – whether it be because of ambiance, drink selection, bar history, extracurricular activities (they do love their beer pong!) or happy hour specials, they’ll dish it all.

In other episodes the girls will give you a glimpse into their 20-year friendship and invite listeners to share their own experiences too as they cover some of life’s most important debates and hacks! Are alcohol delivery services really worth it? How do you get ready for a game day tailgate? What’s the one drink that instantly gives you mouth sweats? Favorite drinking game? Best way to cure hiccups?

The Boozy Blondes invite you to join them weekly for a drink as they share recipes for fun, friendship and fantastic beverages. Plus, there’s a drinking game in every podcast! So dive into their world as they deliver the perfect cocktail of great boozy resources and ridiculousness to keep you entertained!
